    1. benson, the child starts benefiting from the plan depending on when the policy holder took the policy.
our policies have policy terms like 10-25 for super e, 7-18 for elimu bora, 8-22 for msingi poa.
for example, the minimum term for super e plus is 10 years, it means if one took a 10 year plan, they start benefitting from the 4th year to the 10th year because the plan gives 6 bonuses and 1 maturity, simply put, super e pays in the last 7 years of the policy, msing poa the last 4 years e.t.c
      thank you.

what does a client get at the end of policy term?is it;-total premium payable
    OR
    -total cash benefit payable
    OR
    -total return to the client,

    1. james, what a client get at the end of an endowment plan is the 100% of the amount of insurance they took, a.ka the sum assured. prior to that, the client is usally given bonuses depending on the plan they took, for example if it is a 4 year investment plan, and the client took a 16 year plan, the client would have gotten a 20% bonus after every fourth year of the policy.

  5. what happens to that money if the child dies or don’t want to pursue his or her education in high school level?

    1. Annet, the bonuses and maturity sum are paid regardless of what happens to the child. Mode of benefits paymenet is by EFT and not directly to the school, we give you the money to concide with payment of school fees (if it is a school fees plan).

  6. i am on a super E plus and i have been paying monthly 2326 for 2 yrs now can get a loan for the savings

    1. Sylvia, partial maturity is normally 3 years. After a policy has been maintained by way of premium payment for at least 3 years, the company can give you a loan.

  7. Festus, one gets a tax relief if they are paying monthly premiums of 5000 and above. when filing the tax returns, request a policy certificate from us to evidence that you have a policy with us and you will be given the relief. Thank you.
