Britam Hospital Cash Cover
This is an individual cover that guarantees income replacement in case an insured is admitted in hospital for more than 3 days. The waiting period is 30 days for new entrants to the cover from the date of Issue (Effective Date) before the insurance cover take effect unless treatment is due to injuries because of an accident. Claims are paid once you have been discharged from hospital and effected the claim process. If you are in hospital longer than 10 days, you can start the claim process while still admitted.

- Daily hospital access and treatment
- Thirty-day hospital access within a year
- Elective surgeries and chronic conditions are payable.
- An Insured person aged from 18-65 years.
- Spouse to the Insured person aged between 18 -65 years.
- Children – from age of 30 days and not more than 24 years (if proof is provided to show that they are full time students at university or regular college for those above 18 years at the date of joining cover)
- Maximum joining age 65 years and exit age 70 years.
- Eligible dependants include spouse(s) and biological or legally adopted children.
