- Boresha Elimu is an education solution designed in line with the newly launched education system in Kenya (2-6-6-3) to meet future education expenses for your child as well as a Life insurance for you who is taking up the plan. It offers annual guaranteed cash payouts to the parent that match up with school fee payments the last two years before the policy matures. At the end of the policy term, you will get a guaranteed lumpsum. This policy term is between 6 years and 18 years
- Msingi Poa is an education solution designed to meet future education expenses of your child as well as a Life insurance for the parent taking the policy. This secures your child\’s education whether or not you are there. It offers you annual guaranteed cash payouts that coincide with school fee payments the last three years before the policy matures. At the end of the policy term, you will get a guaranteed lumpsum the policy term is between 8 years and 22 years
- Elimu Bora is an education solution that combines insurance protection and savings enabling you to prepare for the cost of your child\’s education as well as put some money aside for your future. It has specifically been designed to provide funds for your child\’s fees while in secondary school and a lump sum amount for joining university. This plan provides for a death cover as a percentage of the sum assured at inception of the policy and increases up to 100% of the sum assured after the fifth year of the policy. It enables you to save for a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 18 years.
- Super E PLUS is indeed a super Education solution designed to meet future education expenses of your child as well as a Life insurance, Disability Insurance and Critical Illness insurance for you. The plan ensures that your child\’s education is secure whether or not you are there It offers you annual guaranteed cash payouts that coincide with school fee payments for the last six years before the maturity of the policy. At the end of the policy term, you will get a guaranteed lumpsum. The policy term is between 10 years and 25 years.
What do I need to sign up for an education plan?
- Fill in our simple application form
- Attach the following documentation and submit payments
- I.D Copy
- PIN Certificate
- Payment mode for future payments (Direct Debit Authority or Checkoff deduction form)
- First payment (Cheque, M-Pesa, Bank transfer)
- You can also get a medical checkup by a doctor from our panel at our cost.
What to expect once you sign up:
- Once the policy is issued you will receive an SMS confirmation message from Britam.
- An E-Policy document will be sent to you through email as confirmation of cover.
How will I pay my monthly premiums?
There are various convenient ways to do this:
1) Employer salary checkoff
2) Direct debit
3) Personal cheques
4) M-Pesa
What are the requirements in the unfortunate event of a death claim?
- Complete a Britam death notification form
- A certified copy of ID of the person making the claim
- A certified copy of the burial permit and death certificate of the policy owner
